Oslo Midwife and Ultrasound Clinic (Jordmorklinikken) has provided ultrasound examinations and care for pregnant women since 2015. Here you will meet midwives with extensive experience and strong expertise in fetal diagnostics, pregnancy care, and women’s health. At our clinic, ultrasound is always a medical examination performed by midwives with specialist competence. Our ultrasound midwives have completed the program **“Ultrasound Diagnostics for Midwives” at NTNU**, with additional training in **“Early Pregnancy Ultrasound”** and **“Doppler Ultrasound with specialization in the fetal heart.”** We are also certified in **“The 11–13 Week Scan”** by the **Fetal Medicine Foundation**. It is important to us that you feel safe and well cared for during your examination. We take the time needed for each consultation and place great emphasis on clear information and follow-up. We are trained at the National Center for Fetal Medicine at NTNU and are certified for "The 11-13 Week Scan" at the Fetal Medicine Foundation. We have good knowledge of fetal diagnostics and extensive experience in ultrasound of pregnant women and prenatal care. ATTENTION! Please note that consultations on weekdays after 15:00, Saturdays and Sundays have an additional fee of NOK 200 per consultation. This extra fee is not shown in the appointment booking but is added when paying after the consultation. Appointments must be canceled no later than 24 hours before the appointment, in order not to be charged the full fee. For appointments on Mondays, cancellations must be done before 14:30 Fridays. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it is not possible to perform a complete ultrasound examination. We can then only see if the heart is beating. If a complete examination is desired, we recommend booking a new appointment.
